Breathtaking video of the Wild Atlantic Way has us pining for the west coast

Irish videographer creates an epic video of his Wild Atlantic Way exploration and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Do you ever truly know the beauty of your own country? A 21-year-old Irish man went on an exploration of the Wild Atlantic Way to acquaint himself with the Ireland that tourists see and the incredible resulting video shows exactly why we have so many visitors each year.

Sam McAllister is a Dublin-based creative, photographer and videographer, who believed he underappreciated just how magnificent a country Ireland is.

“I recently embarked on a four-day road trip to capture the spirit of the Wild Atlantic Way, starting in Donegal and finishing in Kerry,” McAllister said.

“I've lived in Ireland my entire life, and have spent a large portion of it thinking that beautiful, elusive scenery always involved a flight elsewhere. It's funny how you view where you live with such disdain until you get the opportunity to go out there and explore it!"

The traveler and photographer already has a massive following on social media and it's easy to see why as his shots of Ireland are ridiculously beautiful.

🌬Tearaght Island, one of the most westerly & inaccessible points in Europe.
